I have not posted in about 4 weeks…the last few weeks have been very busy and my BLOG is what caught the brunt of the busyness. I hope to get back into the groove this week. School is out and the summer is here, at least for the Thrift family. I am looking forward to spending quality time with my family while my kids are out of school.
We had a BIG weekend…It was so good to have our friends Rodney and Belinda Henderson in from Kansas City, MO along with two of their children. Church was awesome on Sunday! I cannot wait to see what God is going to do this Sunday! Sunday night Renee and I along with Rodney and Belinda and Eddie and Beth Taylor visited with about 12 other couples and their families in the Brunswick and Jekyl Island, GA area. It was wonderful to get to see old friends and their families. The weather was great and the food was tasty as usual.
I am fired up about our summer series called “The Summer of Love” It is going to be 8 intense weeks as we love our God, our Church, our Community and anyone else that we come in contact with. I believe that this will be a summer to remember for everyone at Crossway Church! Blessings…
